This is not really a secret. One of the greatest things about a Walt Disney World Vacation is that they make it incredibly easy for you to get from the airport to your room, if you are staying on the Walt Disney World property.
As part of your vacation package you can sign up for Disney's Magical Express, and that will streamline the process for getting through the airport.
Before leaving your house, you will receive special tags that you place on your luggage. The tags will have your name and resort that you are staying at. Place these on your luggage, and then check your bags at your departing airport as normal.
When you arrive in Orlando you do not have to fuss with the baggage claim. Go directly to the Walt Disney World Welcome Center. There they have a desk for the Disney's Magical Express buses and you can show them your tickets, get passes for the bus, then get in line for your appropriate bus.
The bus will take you to your resort, although probably not directly. It may stop at one or two other hotels before yours. You do have some entertainment during the ride though.
Video plays to educate and explain many of the benefits and options of the park, such as Photopass, FastPass, Dining Plan, Park Hopper, and many other perks.
Your bags will be delivered directly to your room once they arrive at the hotel. This will, however, be after you have arrived, checked in, and settled down for a good meal.
So make sure that when you are on your Walt Disney World Vacation, you sign up for the Not So Secret, Magical Express.

Walt Disney World Vacation Secrets
So, lets get started with the Walt Disney World Vacation Secrets! There is a lot to cover, so in this first post I will be going over the main points that I will be covering over the next few posts.
Some of these main points are obvious. Others are covered in any of the numerous Walt Disney World vacation guidebooks that are available for you to buy. But I will be giving hints, tips and secrets about each of these points that will help you optimize your vacation and get the most out of your time.
All of the information about each of these points will be coming from first hand experience. I have just returned from a Walt Disney World vacation. I stayed at the Wilderness Lodge right near Magic Kingdom. While there, my family and I learned a lot about the Walt Disney World Resorts and picked up a lot of pointers.
Here are some of the things that I will be talking about.
Getting There.
Most of the people fly to Orlando in order to get to Walt Disney World. But what then? Why not just bypass the baggage claim and jump on a bus to your resort? There is a little more to it than that, but if you are staying on Walt Disney World property you can get to your room with great ease.
Staying There.
The Walt Disney World property is extremely large, and there are a lot of places to stay. I will eventually be looking at all of the different resorts and hotels and talking about the differences of each.

Because Walt Disney World is so large, it can be pretty intimidating to get around. Disney makes it somewhat easy with a number of transportation options. All of them have their pros and cons, and you are going to want to know the ins and outs of their "public transportation" system before going so that you can schedule your days and spend the least amount of time waiting for a ride.
Eating.
There is a lot of great food at all of the Walt Disney World resorts, but you do not want to spend all of your time figuring out where to eat. The Disney Dining Plan will save you hundreds of dollars and get you a lot of food. I will also be giving you some tips to make the most of your time and food while you are there.
The Parks.
This is the main reason for taking a Walt Disney World Vacation. Visiting the parks and riding the rides will take up the majority of your time and it will be well worth it. I will be talking about Park Hopper Tickets, Fast Pass, and what the best things will be to see in each park.
Hidden Mickeys.
A lot of people know about the hidden Mickeys that are all over the Walt Disney World Resorts, but there are many more that do not. This is an incredibly fun thing that Disney has done. Hide Mickey heads all over the place, in spots that are not always obvious, and they make a good scavenger hunt while you are out and about. Keep your eyes open!
The Extras.
Here I will tell you about a lot of things that are offered for your Walt Disney World Vacation. There is so much stuff it can be overwhelming, and I will go over a lot of things that make it easier to find things that you will like to do, and even things that you did not know you would like to do.
Shopping.
Of course, Walt Disney World offers a lot of shopping opportunities. One of the best is in Downtown Disney. I will be telling you about a lot of great places to shop, some tips for shopping, and some great deals to be had.
So there is a lot to be covered in this blog. It will take me a number of posts to cover everything and I will probably miss some stuff the first time around, but that is what makes it fun. A Walt Disney World Vacation is a journey, and it will not end the first time you go there... in fact, a good Walt Disney World Vacation will never end.
